BBISE Quetta regulates secondary and higher secondary examinations with a commitment to fairness, transparency, and dependable public service.
Established in 1976
The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Quetta was established under the BISE Ordinance, 1976. The Board has administrative and financial authority to organize, regulate, develop, and oversee intermediate and secondary education and to conduct examinations for affiliated public and private institutions.
Its work connects students, institutions, examination staff, and education authorities through registration, assessment, certification, affiliation, and academic support services.

What We Do
The Board performs academic, regulatory, examination, and student-service functions across its jurisdiction.
Affiliate and inspect institutions offering SSC and HSSC education and assess the availability of required facilities.
Prescribe courses of instruction and maintain the required academic and assessment standards.
Conduct examinations and appoint examiners, supervisory personnel, and other examination staff.
Recognize meritorious performance through scholarships, prizes, and other student-support measures.
Promote physical education, sports participation, and the wellbeing of students.
Improve registration, result processing, publication, and public access through secure digital systems.
Jurisdiction
The Board's jurisdiction extends across Balochistan, except institutions located in cantonments and administered by cantonment boards.
